If you follow me on Instagram, you have noticed I have been incognito.  A few things have changed on our little life and social media took a back burner.  Which I have found to be a good thing every now and then.

One major change would be my pant size.  That’s right!  We are expecting another Willis baby in October.  With having a two and one year old, I have received a lot of questions and looks!  It doesn’t bother me because we are following God’s plan.  He’s a pretty good leader… just saying.   Dustin and I have always wanted a large family, and God totally took us seriously.  Plus, one of these kids are bound to look like me eventually… right?

The day we found out:  February 13, 2017

This was a crazy day to say the least.  M & M had been stuck inside with hand, foot, and mouth disease for over a week.  Momma needed a break!  When Dustin got home I helped feed the boys and then jetted out the door.  (poor Dustin)  I jumped in the car and headed to where all moms go… coffee then Target.  Strolling down almost every aisle, stopping to look at pointless items that I would never buy.  Next stop was Marshalls.  Apparently I worked up an appetite, and heading to meet Dustin’s cousin.  She was working next door at Buffalo Wild Wings.  I slowly devoured wings, fries, celery, and a ton of ranch all while sitting at the bar, by myself.  It was getting way past my bed time (9:45 pm), so I headed home.  As I entered into a dark and quiet house, I tiptoed to the back to get ready for bed.

Walked right back into the bedroom where Dust was sleeping… turned on the light and said…

“Umm DUST,” holding the item in question.

And then there were five!

How we told our families

Dustin’s family was told on family night.  We dressed Miles in a t-shirt that said, “I’m the big brother!”  This was the same shirt Maddox wore when we announced Miles’ pregnancy.  It took about 30 minutes before the grandparents actually read the shirt.  Miles was running around and each grandparent held him multiple times before reading the shirt. I finally had to grab Miles to have him SLOWLY walk to Dustin’s mom, Granna.  She finally figured it out  and called for Pops to come read it!  We always get the same reaction from them… “Are you serious?” ha ha ha  This will be their 5th grandchild, the oldest is three!

My Dad and stepmom were told at their house a few days later.  After dinner we went outside to admire their patio my Dad built.  As my boys were destroying their plants and picking all the flowers, Dustin mentioned the new baby.  They said, “We knew!”  I can’t hide anything from my Dad.

We meet my mom, stepdad, brother, and maw maw for dinner the next night.  As we bowed our heads to pray, I prayed for the food and another baby in my belly.  I did have my eyes open for the prayer.  My stepdad, Pappa, raised his head first.  I have always wanted to announce a pregnancy through a prayer!

Please pray for baby #3 and my sanity!

Bless your heart,

Chelse
